MPP Oosterhoff Welcomes Groundbreaking of Moyer’s Apple Products in Beamsville

December 22, 2025

Beamsville – Sam Oosterhoff, MPP for Niagara West, is welcoming the groundbreaking of Moyer’s Apple Products in Beamsville as the growing company with deep roots in Niagara prepares for the next chapter of the production of local gourmet caramel apples and sauces in Ontario, protecting and creating good-paying jobs.

With nine generations of the Moyer family dating back to 1799 in the Town of Lincoln, Moyer’s Apple Products, in partnership with Court Holdings, has been producing caramel apples since 1990.

“Moyer’s Apple Products is an inspiring success story of resilience and progress – both in the face of a devasting fire in 2023 and current global economic uncertainty,” said Sam Oosterhoff, MPP for Niagara West.

“I applaud Paul Moyer and Court Holdings on the groundbreaking of their new facility in Beamsville and their continued focus on local investment and innovation in our community.”

MPP Oosterhoff was joined in Beamsville last Friday by Rob Foster, Councillor for the Regional Municipality of Niagara, and Sandra Easton, Mayor of the Town of Lincoln, along with Paul Moyer, Co-Founder of Moyer’s Apple Products; Mark Vanderveen, President of Court Holdings, and Ron Brouwer, President of Brouwer Building Systems, as well as local business leaders and municipal officials.

Local contractor, Brouwer Building Systems, is coordinating construction of the new facility.
Moyer’s Apple Products has pioneered a revolutionary sanitation process that has become an industry standard across North America, providing consumers with the safest apples possible.

With American tariffs impacting workers and businesses across key sectors, the Ontario government is protecting Ontario workers and businesses by lowering taxes, reducing red tape and making strategic investments that will build Ontario into the most resilient, self-reliant and competitive economy in the G7. Since 2018, Ontario has attracted a historic $113 billion in foreign direct investments and created one million new jobs.
