MPP Oosterhoff Hosts Community Barbecue in Jordan

Jordan – Joined by Dean Allison, MP for Niagara West, Sam Oosterhoff, MPP for Niagara West, welcomed over 300 constituents and local community leaders from across Niagara West to the Jordan Lions Park in Jordan, Saturday, August 16, for a community barbecue.

“This annual event is always a great opportunity to hear directly from local constituents and to celebrate our strong community spirit in Niagara West,” said MPP Oosterhoff.

“It is a privilege to co-host the barbecue with MP Allison and interact with residents on local issues and concerns.  As a grassroots MPP, my legislative role is to bring the voice of Niagara to Queen’s Park.”

The festive community event featured family-friendly activities, including face-painting, balloon twisting, live music and outdoor games, served with grilled treats, sourced from local businesses and farms.

MPP Oosterhoff has hosted the annual event with MP Allison since being elected in 2016.
